Heads up! In the background of this page, you can see a demo of the full page slideshow.

After you have enabled the plugin, you may include the JS Visionary module and set it up to show your full-page slideshow in the pages you want to.

Using / creating a new full-page slideshow module

For configuring the full-page slideshow you must go to the Module Manager.

When installing Visionary package, it comes with a pre-installed module that you can use to set your full-page slideshow.  This module is not assigned or published, so you must configure it before it's active.

You can either use this one by clicking on the title, or you can always create a new one by clicking "New" and selection "JS Visionary (Module)".

Positioning the module

The very basic configuration of the module involves it's positioning.  This is the basic positioning of the module:

6

Position

The position must always be visionary (low-caps, no spaces).

Status

The status must be published.

Menu Assignment

You must select the pages where you want to have the full-page slideshow.  In this case we assigned it only to our "Visionary" page.  In this way you can configure different slides and assigning them to different pages.

Basic Configuration

7

The only basic configuration is the collection you have created in your Visionary Collection Management.  A reccommended size for the pictures assigned to a full-page slideshow is 1200x800px.

Slideshow Configuration

8

This section manages the behavior of this slideshow, with the following options:

Select slideshow transition effect

You can select between these transition efects:

  • Disolve
  • Push
  • Push with elastic effect
  • Flash

Height for displaying the slideshow before the content

This setting lets you start your template with a space dedicated to the slideshow itself.  You can set an optional height (in px) of space left before the content is shown.

Delay (ms) between slide transitions

This is the time (in ms) that each slide remains in screen before the next transition.

Duration (ms) of the slideshow transitions

This time (in ms) is the time for transitioning from one slide to the next one (time used by the selected transition effect).

Background Color

With the full-page slideshow, your template background is going to be replaced completely by the pictures.  However you can select the default background color you wish to have after the image ends (at the bottom).  This background color is a closed option because we want to ensure a better quality when your picture ends, providing it a gradient to the color (which is achieved using an image to have browser compatibility).

Select if you want to add a semi-transparent background to the content

Depending on the template, you might want to add a screen between the content and your pictures, to ensure readability.  If you need it, you must set to Yes this option.  The semi-transparent background will have the same background color.

Enter the opacity for the semi-transparent background (0 - 1)

You can configure the alpha percentage (in decimals from 0 to 1) that you wish to use for the semi-transparent background.  0 is invisible, 1 is completely opaque.

Enter the width (px) for the background

As you might want to ensure readability only to the main section of the content, you can configure the width of this background screen (in px).  Typical content templates are based on a 960px width.
